Conditions We Treat- Work Injury

Choosing the Right Treatment

After experiencing a work injury there are many things to consider, like when will I be able to return to work? Or will I be able to choose the doctor and treatment that is right for me? Most employees are not aware of their options after being injured at work.

Your Options and Rights

When you are injured on the job your employer is responsible for your medical care. A report of the accident will be made and the worker's compensation insurance company will be notified. They will assign a case number for the claim and will pay the medical bills for you.

Most companies have a worker's compensation panel. This is a list of physicians that their employees will receive treatment from in the event of an injury. Some companies may list a chiropractor and some may not. By law you are allowed to seek chiropractic treatment. If your company has a chiropractor on their list of providers and you wish to have chiropractic treatment, you must initially see the one on the list. If there is no chiropractor on the panel you may see on of your choosing.

After 90 days, since the injury occurred, if you are still experiencing problems, you may see any physician that you wish. It is important that you are aware of the options the law gives you. After all it is your well being that is at risk and it is your intention to fully recover from the injury as soon as possible.

Low force chiropractic is designed to treat the injury without causing further impairment which will help you return to work fully recovered as soon as possible.
